Cuba April 2007 - Part1 the Prologue

N.B.: The adventure written on the following pages was written back in April of 2007 at a time when the Helms-Burton act of 1996 weighed heavily on my mind, hence the identity censorship.  Although my concern over this ideologically-driven and ultimately ineffective act has waned (for a wide variety of reasons), my laziness has not... hence I have not since found the motivation to alter this report in any way/shape/form from its original content of 5 years ago.  Flash forward to 2012 and Fidel is either still very much alive, or very much dead and body double #4 is still chugging along strongly... yet I think the message remains just as relevant today.

N.B. #2 - A few years since my last post and Blogger is still a major league P.O.S. and does not auto-size to fit page width.  To facilitate slightly less inconvenient, click anywhere within the entry that you see the little hand icon so that you can view each page individually in full-page graphic mode.

Tel Aviv - Oct9, 2010

Opinion: Blogger is a POS that does not support multi-file upload nor drag-drop... not to mention an absolutely terrible interface with picasa & picasaweb. You'd think there would be some degree of integration? I almost had forgotten just how painful it was writing the honeymoon entries last year...

Sergei & Larry - there are some little things that the Steves (Jobs and Wozniak) do very well which enables them to sell mediocre products for extraordinarily high prices. Definitely not the other Steve (Ballmer)... I recall using Microsoft Live Writer last year for blogging. Terrible, almost as clunky, heavy, and inefficient as Blackberry's OS. So.... maybe would be a good idea to think about some of this holistic integration crap?

As an engineer, I understand very well that the most elegant solutions come in removing steps in the process.

Thus I've skipped out on Blogger altogether (almost) in order to utilize picasaweb directly as the vehicle for writing this blog here:
